Great job Joe! Thanks for covering such an important topic. The birds we documented in the…Read More meadows in June are state listed - meaning they are special concern or threatened and protected under the law. This unanimous vote allows experts to review the private land the dumps sits on, as no citizen could do that without violating laws of trespassing. I'm confident that finding 3 state listed species on its borders will prove a lively habitat on the 30+ year old dump land which has grown in and shows little evidence of once being a dump.

This sounds great and really support the cause. Glad this is happening. There actually will be a…Read More dog-walk at Huntington Beach on Sunday, September 30th, and it will be tons of fun! Bring your dogs and your family and friends! Take your dogs out for a stroll and to meet other dogs in the area, all for a great cause. Check it out at http://www.paws-for-a-cause.net.

What a joyous story! All involved should be commended. It restores my faith which had been broken…Read More over Elm Ridge. Rocky Hill is getting better. Although there is much more to be done still to improve Elm Ridge access for all neighborhoods and Ferry Park has several threats upon it. Citizens are watching and becoming more active and involved. The Patch has been a great resource for that! Many thanks to all, especially Ed!
