WFSB is the CBS-affiliated television station for the state of Connecticut that is licensed to Hartford. It broadcasts a high-definition digital signal on UHF channel 33 from a transmitter on the Metacomet Ridge in Avon. Owned by the Meredith Corporation, the station's new studios are based here. Syndicated programming on WFSB includes "Entertainment Tonight," "Inside Edition," "Oprah" and "Live with Regis and Kelly." "Better Connecticut" is produced at WFSB studios.
