Nine members of Girl Scout Troop 10211 made and delivered cookies with help of their leaders to the residents at the on Dec. 16.
The troop also baked pies with apples they picked for veterans during Thanksgiving in 2010.
Often Girl Scouts visit senior centers and homes for the elderly, but Girl Scout Troop 10211 wanted to do something different, scout leader Ladene Paulino said.

"They (veterans) don't get enough visitors," she said.
