Car Show to Benefit Kids Camp

Fifth annual Loctite Auto and Bike Show will be held this weekend.

Classic, muscle and exotic cars and motorcyles will be on display this Sunday at the fifth annual Loctite Auto and Bike Show with all the procceeds going to the Channel 3 Kids Camp.

The show will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Henkel Corporation company parking lot, located at 1 Henkel way.

"The tiered parking area makes for a perfect showing place for polished chrome, high performance engines and pristine interiors," Rick Sweezy, event organizer, said.

There is a $10 fee for anyone who is showing an automobile and a $5 admission fee for all spectators. The proceeds benefit year round programs and services offered at the Channel 3 Kids Camp.

Trophies will be awarded to motorists based on popular vote.

The band "Underground Genius" will perform, food will be available for purchase and raffles will be held. Kids Camp staff will also be on hand to share information about their programs and host activities for children, which will include Incredible Inflatables and face painting.
