New Members Needed for Hiking, Biking Club

The club members will hike in local parks and ride on town roads together.

A recently formed club offers residents the benefits of biking on the town's roadways and hiking in the local parks with some new companions.

The group, originally called the Rocky Hill Hiking Club, was formed in October and currently has 10 members. Club members will participate in Rocky Hill biking and hiking events at local parks and open space areas.

"Every time we leave our path better than the way we found it," said Rocky Hill Hiking Club Founding Member Ed Chiucarello. He added the group would allow members to "connect with other like minded hikers-bikers."

Anyone interested in joining the club is asked to contact Chiucarello, by emailing him at lexarded@cox.net. The group is free, but members are asked to volunteer at local parks.
