Rocky Hill Offers A Bit of Everything For Everyone

The ferry, which dates back to 1655, is open Monday through Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The fees for riding the ferry are:

  • $3 for motor vehicle
  • $2 for commuter rate (requires pre-purchased commuter coupons)
  • $1 for pedestrians and bicyclist

Discovered in 1966 and opened to the public two years later, Dinosaur State Park is one of the largest dinosaur track sites in North America. The park and museum were built after the discovery of 2,000 early Jurassic dinosaur footprints. More than 50,000 people visit the park each year.

If you feel like going for a hike, Rocky Hill offers several trails for you to explore including the newly opened . The park features a waterfall, two ponds, a three-mile loop to hike and lots of historical information on the former industrial park.
