Extreme Heat Causes Rocky Hill to Open Cooling Center
For the next three days, town officials are giving residents an option for getting out of the heat.
Town officials in Rocky Hill activated the cooling center today and will keep it open this weekend.
The times and the locations of the cooling center are as follows:

- Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the
- Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Cora J. Belden Library
- Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. at the , Activity Room 1.
Pool is available for residents to cool off and is open from 11 to 8 p.m.

Children must be accompanied by an adult as there will be no supervision present, according to an email from the Rocky Hill Park and Recreation Department.
