Connecticut Trail Day Coming Up in June

Take your family on a stroll with a scenic view of the Connecticut River Valley.

Time to break out your hiking shoes for Connecticut Trail Day. The walk starts at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 2.

See the remnants of Rocky Hill’s industrial past, the hollow, an old dam, a waterfall, and the lower and upper ponds as well as a scenic view of the Connecticut River Valley.

Participants should meet at parking lot on Old Forge Road around 9:30 a.m. The distance of the walk is about 3 miles and easy for families. If there are heavy rains, the walk will be canceled.
