Cromwell High School Presents 9 to 5 The Musical

Cromwell High School Presents 9 to 5 - the Musical

Cromwell High School is thrilled to announce this year’s musical production, 9 to 5 with music by Dolly Parton.  The show will be presented at the Cromwell High School auditorium on Friday and Saturday, March 1st and 2nd at 7:00 pm.

The show tells the story of 3 office workers.  Violet (played by Peyton Mayzel), Doralee (played by Katie Woelfel) and Judy (played by Olivia Davenport) who are very unhappy with their boss, Franklin Hart, Jr (played by Bradey Maleve.)  These women fantasize about getting rid of Hart and eventually are able to tie him up and confine him to his own house.  While Hart is out of the picture, the women make changes to the office, which gets noticed by Hart’s superiors.   Hart eventually escapes and upon his return to the office, gets a promotion for all the changes and is sent to work in South America , ironically leaving the women in charge.

Other members of the cast include: Alex Colavecchio, Justin Slifer, Jordan Lane, Allison Bennett, Julia Allen, Claudia Emanuel, Billy Spada, Michael Lozinski
David Corriveau,  Michael Machinchik, Emma Randazzo, Ashley Ramirez, Katie Ricard, Morgan Lombardo, Andrea Keckley,  and Claire Rodriguez

Come see this hysterical fast paced comedy set in the eighties, complete with great music and dancing.  Tickets are reserved seating.  Cost is $10 and may be obtained by calling Cromwell High School at 632-4841 x 24900.  Ticket order forms are also available on the CHS website.
