Two of Three Rocky Hill Little League Teams Poised To Advance From Pool Play

Little League All-Star action is progressing through the district pool play phase and two of the Rocky Hill teams are in good position to advance.

There was a tripleheader at Elm Ridge Park Sunday.

In the first game, the 9 and 10-year-olds from Rocky Hill beat Newington 4-2 which brings their record to 4-2. The loss was the first for Newington in pool play as they dropped to 4-1.

The 11-year-old team played Glastonbury American, which was a match of undefeated teams. Rocky Hill 6-1 behind a complete game on the mound from Justin Fraleigh with good timely defense and hitting. 

The Rocky Hill 11s remain undefeated with the victory.

The 12-year-old team played Glastonbury National and was beaten 15-1 in the final game of the day.
