Storm Stories: Man Practices Putts During Hurricane Irene

Boredom leads a man to work on his golf swing following the hurricane.

People who were walking on Cold Spring Road after Hurricane Irene noticed something unusual: a man working on his putting on the  practice green. 

A man, who would only identify himself as Tony, was bored Sunday afternoon. Once the winds from Hurricane Irene died down a bit, he took a trip down to and hit a few golf balls.

"It's good exercise," he said. "It is good for the body and mind."

Tony, who is a 12 handicap, plays a few times a week and really likes the course.

"It beats laying on the couch at home."
