Rocky Hill High School Teams Prepare For State Tournament

Baseball team lone team to earn a home game.

The state tournaments have begin for high school teams. 

The RHHS baseball team captured the 14th seed in Class M after a solid 14-6 season. The Terriers play host to 11-9 Ansonia on Tuesday. A win would earn Rocky Hill a second round game at either third seeded North Branford or home to 30th seed Grasso Tech. 

The boy's lacrosse team finished the regular season 8-8 and lost to Weston in the qualifying round on Saturday by a 16-4 score. 

The softball team finished 13-7 and is the 21st seed in Class M. The Terriers play at 12th seeded Waterford Tuesday. 

In girl's tennis, Rocky Hill beat St. Paul 4-3 in a qualifying match on Saturday. The Terriers will next play at unbeaten and second seeded Stonington Tuesday.
