Quick Exit For Baseball Team In Tourney

In his first year as head coach, Chris Farrell helped the Terriers to a solid 14-6 record, which earned the Terriers a home state tournament game.

That tournament game did not go as expected, however, as visiting Ansonia eliminated Rocky Hill 6-3 in the first round of the Class M tournament. 

The Rocky Hill boy's golf team qualified for the Division III state tournament and will be the 17th seed. The tournament will be contested at Timberlin Golf Course in Berlin on June 3. The Terrier players will go off from 8 to 8:32 a.m.

The Rocky Hill boy's lacrosse team qualified for the Class S state tournament but was knocked out in the qualifying round 16-4. 

In track, the Rocky Hill boys team finished 17th in Class M while the boys came in eighth in Class M. 

On the girls side, sophomore Briana Wilson came in fourth in the 400 meter run, the team of  Brooke Lawlor, Abby Smith, Nicole Mancini, Briana Wilson and Jackie Saucier took fifth in the 4x400 Relay Race.  Haleigh Oeser, a freshman, took seventh in the discus. 

The boys were led by Alex Tan, who came in second in the 800 meter race, Alex Crafa, second in the 3,200 and Tyler Landry was second in the discus. Dan Proko was fourth in the 300 meter hurdles.

The softball team was knocked out of the Class M state tournament, 10-9 by Waterford.
