Terriers Tournament Bound

With its win on Tuesday night, the Rocky Hill High School girls' basketball team has qualified for the Class M Tournament.

 

The Rocky Hill High School girls' basketball defeated Fermi High School, 39-24, Tuesday night with the win the Terriers have punched their ticket to state tournament.

Emily Anderson and Val Kobilaka scored 10 points each while Kirsty Arcata added five assists and Alexa St Germain had 11 rebounds. However, head coach Peter Egan did not credit the offense for the Terriers' victory.

"It was the defense that won the game," he said. Egan added Rocky Hill held Fermi to only two points in the second quarter and scoreless in the fourth.

The Terriers play Plainville High School at Rocky Hill High School at 7 p.m. It is senior night, which means it is the final home game of the regular season for the girls' team and the seniors will be honored. The team is 8-9 on the season.
