Terriers Stomp Owls, 58-35

The Rocky Hill girls' basketball team defeats Hartford Public High School on Friday night.

 

The girls' basketball team won its seventh game of the season Friday after dominating the Owls of Hartford Public High School, 58-35.

Ten players scored in the game for the Terriers as Emily Anderson lead the team with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Kelsey Brennan and Val Kobialka had seven points each. Kobialka and Alexa St. Germain each grabbed six rebounds.

One of the highlights of the game was freshman Marissa Di Matteo scored her first varsity points with a basket in the fourth quarter.

The Terriers have a jam packed schedule with three games this week. The girls play on Tuesday and Plainville on Wednesday. Both games are at Rocky Hill High School at 7 p.m. Rocky Hill will also play Tolland at Tolland High School on Friday at 7 p.m.
