Rocky Hill Students Will Be Asked To Accept Rachel's Challenge

Family of girl who was killed at Columbine will speak to students and residents in two presentations Wednesday at Rocky Hill High School.

On Wednesday, March 20, 2013 students at Rocky Hill High School and Griswold Middle School will participate in assemblies presented by Rachel’s Challenge, an anti-bullying and violence abatement program.

Rachel’s Challenge is based on the life and writings of Rachel Joy Scott who was the first victim of the Columbine school shootings in 1999. Rachel’s inspiring story provides a simple, yet powerful example of how small acts of kindness and acceptance motivate us to consider our relationships with the people we come in contact with every day.
