A group of Rocky Hill High School students traveled to New Orleans to help build homes in the area still ravaged by Hurricane Katrina during their February vacation.
This YouTube video chronicles the journey the students went on during the week.
Last year 20 RHHS students and six chaperones worked on framing, installed flooring and dug foundations at three different job sites in Lower 9th Ward.
This is the sixth year of the trip.
Students must complete 10 hours of community service before they can be eligible to go to on the trip.
