Rocky Hill High School Students Earn Art Awards

Rocky Hill High School recently wrapped up its annual art show. Awards were handed out and a number of students received merit awards for their work.  

"We had awards and a number of students received merit awards for their work," Rocky Hill High School's Eileen Schnyder said. "Special awards were awarded to best in class and there was one bet in show awarded. The show was adjudicated by several art teachers, two retired and one from another district."

"There were Drawings, Paintings, Photographs, Ceramics, Crafts, Digital Design and Video and Animation. This year the artwork was adjudicated and Awards of merit were distributed to the five best works in each class.

"One Special award was also awarded to the best in each class. In addition there was one winner of the Best in Show which was awarded to Jacquelin Saucier for her work in Digital Design."

Also on display are works from the CTE department including Fashion Design, Materials and Project Lead the Way.
