Middle School Students to Dance the Night Away at Valentine's Day Social

The Rocky Hill Coalition event will give students an alternative to drinking and drugs.

 

The  will host a  Friday night for  students to benefit their spring programs.

The dance will be held inside the Griswold Middle School cafeteria from 6:30 to 9 p.m. and will be chaperoned by Rocky Hill town staff,  and coalition members. The event will feature a disc jockey, refreshments, games, dancing and contests.

The goal of the is to bring middle and high school students together with parents, town officials, business owners and police officers to help bring awareness to the community about substance abuse by underage children and show students that there are better activities than underage drinking. Friday’s dance offers middle school students an alternative to drinking.

The price of admission is $10.

Students are asked to dress appropriately because the Griswold Middle School dress code will be enforced at the social.
