The Chamber of Commerce held their annual golf tournament Thursday afternoon with all the proceeds going to their scholarship fund.
Thirty-two chamber members and their guests took to the links at Gillette Ridge Golf Course in Bloomfield. The event will help raise money for scholarships for deserving Rocky Hill High School seniors.
"We are raising dollars for Rocky Hill scholars," Paul Carr, the chamber's executive director, said.
The day is not just some fun in the sun, according to the Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce Kevin Kober.
"There is a lot of business done on the golf course," Kober, who is a Senior Vice President at the Connecticut Bank & Trust , said.
Rocky Hill Patch was a sponsor for the 15th hole.
