"Living well is the best revenge” is the theme of the My Avenging Angel WorkshopsTM being offered on Saturday, November 5 and 12 in Wethersfield, Connecticut, by Susan M. Omilian of West Hartford, the workshop’s award-winning originator and facilitator. Described by participants as “life-changing,” the workshop provides a critical “next step” for women to break permanently out of the cycle of violence and “thrive” after abuse.
The workshops are open to women who have abused by domestic violence, sexual assault or other verbal or physical assault who have left those abusive environments and desire to grow and change.
Sponsored by the Hartford Hospital Domestic Violence Prevention Program and supported by Connecticut Alliance for Victim of Violence and Their Families Inc. (CT-ALIVE), the workshop will be held at Hartford Hospital Health Center, 1260 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield CT 06109 near the Rocky Hill line. Participants should plan to attend both sessions of the workshop.
