"We shot ourselves in the foot, and couldn't get out of our own way in the first half," Fermi head coach Sean Sweeney said. "We put ourselves in a hole, then came out in the second half and played great for a minute, but then threw the ball away seven consecutive times."

A three-pointer by Stacey Kraucunas brought Fermi within six early in the second half, but a 15-3 Rocky Hill spurt over the next eight minutes put the game out of reach. The Falcons cut the lead to single digits just once, in the final minute of the fourth quarter.
