RH Sweeps 'Em!! THREE STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS for RH Youth Football & Cheerleading

Well, the blue and white came and rocked the house - and walked away with THREE, count 'em, THREE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHIES!!!  A huge congratulations to all of our players and cheerleaders!  Their hard work, dedication, practices, games and positive attitudes paid off in a BIG way!

On Saturday at Berlin High School, our cheerleaders competed against 900 others, with 2,000+ family and friends in the stands.  They brought the house down with their stunts, dance moves and Terrier cheers!  After having placed third at the local competition on October 27, our C-Team squad went on to beat the other four State finalists to take home FIRST PLACE in their division!  Their routine turned out to be "toxic" for the other competitors!  After our C-Team took the mat, our A-Team brought their A-game for sure!  They placed second at the local competition and stepped it up even more for States.  Comprised of members of both our A and B squads, they led the competition and brought home another FIRST PLACE trophy!  The energy was contagious and the gymnasium roared with excitement!  To witness both squads to take home the State championship in their categories was an amazing moment for all!  To the coaches, parents and to the cheerleaders - CONGRATULATIONS!!!  You deserve it!

Still celebrating their wins from Saturday, the cheerleaders headed to Rentschler Field on Sunday to help bring the Terriers to V-I-C-T-O-R-Y in the championship game against Glastonbury.  Four quarters later, it was OFFICIAL - Rocky Hill 36 - Glastonbury 18!!  The blue and white dominated!  The Terrier fans delighted and another season came to a close with yet another FIRST PLACE TROPHY!!!  To the players, coaches and parents - CONGRATULATIONS!!!  A well deserved win!!

So, there you have it.  Three teams, three wins, three State trophies!!  It's a proud moment for Rocky Hill Youth Football & Cheerleading and all of those involved.  Thank you to everyone who supported us this season and for coming out and cheering us on.  We have the best fans around!!
