According to a report from WFSB, Rocky Hill Mayor Anthony LaRosa told his fellow Town Council members that he was resigning as Mayor.
He said the reason was he wanted to spend more time with his family.
He has been Mayor of Rocky Hill for eight years and is leaving his fourth term.
