Poll Results: Romney Takes Rocky Hill

Just over 300 residents voted in the Republican Primary on Tuesday.

 

The Republicans in Rocky Hill have spoken and they selected Mitt Romney as their preference for the presidential candidate.

In Rocky Hill, 332 of the 2,312 registered Republicans, including 20 absentee ballots, voted in the primary Tuesday. There are 11,145 registered voters in Rocky Hill.

"For a national election, I don't think we ever got this low," Republican Registrar of Voters Patricia E. Beyer said. However, There were less than100 votes cast in the Republican Primary for the seat to challenge United States Rep. John Larson.

  • Ron Paul - 49
  • Newt Gingrich - 39
  • Rick Santorum - 17 
  • Uncommitted - 5
