New Rocky Hill Officer Sworn In

Jacob Boucher is a former U.S. Marine who served in Iraq.

 

Jacob Boucher, the newest member of the Rocky Hill Police Department, was sworn in to the force on Tuesday during a brief ceremony in the Town Hall Council Chambers.

Boucher, 26, was introduced by Deputy Chief William Keehner before an audience of about 30 people that included other Rocky Hill officers and Boucher’s wife, Bridget, and seven-year-old son, Jacob. The couple also have a five-month-old son, Jackson.

Boucher is a fromer U.S. Marine who served in the front lines in Iraq from 2005-2006. He currently serves in the U.S. Air National Guard Reserves.

Before joining the force here Boucher worked for three years with the New Britain police.
