State Rep. Tony Guerrera, D-Rocky Hill, joined a group of colleagues in the legislature Monday in support of a bill that would permit red light cameras at intersections in big cities.
Guerrera was among legislators who testified at the state capitol in support of the bill, according to the Stamford Advocate.
Guerrera said the cameras would improve traffic safety, but he is mindful of the privacy concerns. He is co-sponsoring legislation to delete records after a fine is paid or a case is dismissed.
