Wreaths Across America

Wreaths Across America--Remember, Honor and Teach--December 10, 2011--12 p.m.

On December 10, 2011, local groups will aid Wreaths Across America in honoring veterans by laying wreaths on the graves of veterans in the Middletown Veterans’ Cemetery and the Veterans’ Cemetery in Rocky Hill. The ceremony will be held simultaneously with the Wreaths Across America ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery and ceremonies in state veterans’ cemeteries, veterans’ monuments and local cemeteries.

You can help honor our veterans by donating wreaths. Contributions for wreaths to be placed on gravestones at the Connecticut State Veterans Cemeteries can be made online at www.wreathsacrossamerica.org. Enter “CTDAR006” as the sponsoring group code and the code of the cemetery of your choosing:
State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown (CTMVCM)
Col. Raymond Gates Memorial Cemetery in Rocky Hill (CTCRGR)
