Torch To Pass Through Rocky Hill

Six police officers and members of the Chief States Attorney Office will be running to help kickoff the 2012 Special Olympics.

 

Members of the will be participating in the Connecticut Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run with the torch traveling from Ledyard to New Haven over three days.

The officers, who will be joined by members of the Chief States Attorney Office, will start at the Connecticut Natural Gas tank near the Cromwell town line at 2:50 p.m. and finish at the at the Wethersfield town line.

More than 1,500 Law Enforcement officers and Special Olympics athletes will travel about 530 miles through more than 100 cities and towns during the torch run. The event is the kickoff to the 2012 Special Olympics.
