State troopers will hold roving DUI patrols throughout Super Bowl Weekend starting Thursday night, State Police announced Thursday in a press release.
With two nearby teams playing in the NFL's biggest game of the year, Police expect this weekend to be a "historically busy Super Bowl weekend."
Police say they're deploying troopers to heavily traveled areas to net drivers under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
They will actively seek out intoxicated drivers, "to ensure this is a safe, enjoyable weekend for all citizens and visitors traveling the Connecticut Highways," state police said Thursday.
