Rocky Hill Resident Killed in Motorcycle Accident

Motor vehicle accident in downtown Hartford Wednesday night leaves one dead and two injured.

A 25-year-old Rocky Hill resident was killed in a motorcycle crash in downtown Hartford Wednesday night.

Bryant Berlin of Grimes Road was driving on Main Street just after 6:30 p.m., Hartford Police said in a release. When Berlin came to the intersection of Main Street and Atheneum Square, he "t-boned" a Dodge Magnum, police said.

Berlin was pronounced dead at the scene. The two people in the Dodge Magnum were taken to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Police said Berlin's motorcycle caught on fire.

At the same time, another motorcycle collided with a city bus and the driver of the motorcycle was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injures, police said.

Hartford Police are still investigating both accidents.
