Rocky Hill Police Will Be Looking For You To Click-It or Ticket

Expect stepped-up patrols this Memorial Day holiday weekend.

The Rocky Hill Police Department has obtained a grant from the Connecticut Department of Transportation’s Highway Safety Division to support High Visibility Safety Belt Campaign (Click It Or Ticket Wave #44).

Grant funding will support detection and enforcement efforts between May 20th and June 2nd, 2013.  Funding will provide the opportunity for the Rocky Hill Police Department to provide additional Officers to conduct spot checks and checkpoints as part of the “Click It Or Ticket” Campaign.

With the 2013 Memorial Day Holiday travel period, the Rocky Hill Police Department and Connecticut’s law enforcement agencies intend to promote safe driving and increase the protection of motorists.

The Rocky Hill Police Department will be actively enforcing the State occupant protection laws and issuing citations to those who are unbuckled.  “Please buckle up…It’s the law.”
