Rocky Hill Man Living In Veteran's Home Arrested For Child Porn

Stanley Garten, 55, has been charged with first-degree possession of child pornography.

A 55-year-old man who was living at a Connecticut veteran's home in Rocky Hill was arrested Tuesday for possession of child pornography.

The Hartford Courant reports that Stanley Garten, of the Sgt. John L. Levitow Veteran's Health Center at 287 West St. in Rocky Hill, was charged Tuesday with first-degree possession of pornography and obscenity. Garten was arrested after a state police investigation linked him to the sharing of child pornography, according to the newspaper.

Garten was released on $75,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in New Britain's Superior Court on Jan. 28, according to The Courant.
