Police: Two Men Robbed Duo At Gunpoint, Elude Police, Abandon Car
Police report that the robbery happened at 11:30 p.m. on Thursday at the Forest Park Apartments on West Street in Rocky Hill.
Two people were robbed at gunpoint Thursday night at the Forest Park Apartments on West Street, with the two robbers managing to escape from police in a Volvo SUV.
The Hartford Courant reports that at 11:30 Thursday night, two men robbed two people at gunpoint at Forest Park Apartments in Rocky Hill and then took off in a Volvo SUV. Police responded and chased the car on I-91, but the chase was eventually called off in Glastonbury, according to the newspaper.
The Courant reports that the SUV was found by police abandoned on the side of Route 2. If anyone has any information about the incident, they are urged to call Det. Andrew O'Brien at (860) 258-2748.
