SPEEDING and ILLEGAL OPERATION OF A MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL/DRUGS - Peter J. Selmecki, 24, of 188 Cloverdale Cir., Wethersfield

VIOLATION OF RESTRAINING ORDER — On Feb. 26 at 5:16 p.m., Thomas Ellegard, 50, of 46 Wright Rd., Rocky Hill, was at a home on Russet Lane where his wife said he had been sending her eight text messages throughout the day with a restraining order in effect. She said she called him at 2 p.m. after receiving many texts and told him to stop. Rocky Hill Police went and talked to him and he admitted to doing so.
