Police: Man Arrested After He Was Caught Smashing Car Windows

Police chase suspect from Birch Road to Main Street.

A 19-year old man was arrested after police said he was caught smashing car windows early Monday morning. 

Police received a complaint from neighbors that a group of men were smashing windows at the beginning of Birch Road just before 1:30 a.m.

When police arrived, they spotted Joshua Wolfe of 636 Old Main St. Wolfe ran away from police, they chased him and he was arrested at 2816 Main St.

Wolfe was charged with violation of probation, third-degree criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.

He is scheduled to appear in Superior Court in New Britain on Sept. 21. Wolfe is being held on a $10,000 bond and has not entered a plea.
