Wethersfield Police are searching for a man who robbed a woman at gunpoint, possibly after following her home from a grocery store in Rocky Hill.
A Wethersfield woman called police after she was robbed inside the garage of her home on Pine Lane Friday morning, the police department said on its Facebook page. According to police, she was getting out of her car when the suspect, who was armed with a hand gun, took an undetermined amount of money and the woman's debit card.
Berlin police are investigating a similar incident when a woman was followed from Stop & Shop in New Britain to her Berlin home.
Anyone who sees the ossible suspect or car is asked to call Berlin Police at (860) 828-7080.
Police believed that the suspect followed the victim home from in Rocky Hill.
The woman, who was not identified, was not seriously injured, according to police.
The vehicle used by the suspect is believed to be a white Chrysler 300 with Connecticut license plates on the front and rear of the vehicle.
The suspect has been described as a black man between the ages of 35 to 40, according to police. He was believed to be 6 feet tall with slender build and was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and blue jeans.
