Police say Vincent had been involved in a fight with another player earlier that caused the referee to end the game. Vincent then left and returned with a gun. He didn’t point the gun at anyone during the incident, police said.

Officers stopped Vincent in his car nearby after he had left Oakwood Sports Center and driven away. He had a permit for the handgun, police said.
