Thank You, Goodbye From Your Local Patch Editor

Local editor Joseph Wenzel is leaving Patch to return to television and tomorrow will be his last day.

Loyal readers, I wanted to thank you for reading It has truly been a labor of love and I have enjoyed bringing local news coverage to all of you.

Tomorrow will be my final day with Patch. I will be leaving to take a job in television and help them run their website.

I have made many memories during my time with Patch such as staying in an emergency shelter by myself while , visiting people at the after the or covering controversial stories like the or the . We even held our own on New Britain Avenue.

Any emails of importance should be sent to my boss Megan Bard Morse at  megan.bardmorse@patch.com until a replacement is hired. Once again, thank you for all your support and help developing Rocky Hill Patch. Your kind words (and some negative ones) helped me get through the long days and nights.

Joe, Congrats on the opportunity working in television and I wish you continued success. Rocky Hill Patch is truly losing the hardest working, dedicated and impressive person in the firm. When ever there was an event in town, game being played by one of the school teams or political event going on, you were always there. You must not have slept much these past few years as you we so busy and visible in town. I want to thank you for taking Rocky Hill Patch from nothing to the "go to source" of local information for Rocky Hill. They will be hard pressed to find someone half of your caliber and ability.
