Patcher Conquers Warrior Dash

Over this weekend, Rocky Hill Local Editor Joe Wenzel, his girlfriend and a group of his close friends competed in the Warrior Dash in Thompson, CT on Saturday.

We scaled up walls, ran more than three miles and crawled under barb wire on route to jumping into a puddle of mud. It was one of the most fun events I have ever been a part of. I had a blast and enjoyed each obstacle on my way to the finish line.

I would like to congratulate everyone who completed the race this weekend. I will see you all in Ashford on Sept. 22 when I try to better my time. For more information, visit the Warrior Dash website.
