Route 3 Paving and Milling
Rocky Hill residents will experience some problems when traveling on Route 3 because milling and paving begins today.
Workers will be milling and paving the roads on Route 3 from New Britain Avenue to the Wethersfield town line. The construction is expected to last one month.
"There will be rough road and inconveniences," according to the town's website.

Discussion on Possible Referendum Language for Open Space
Open Space Land Acquisition And Farmland Preservation Committee will meet for the second time in two weeks, which are the only two times that the board has met this year.
The committee will discuss possible referendum language for open space and farmland preservation funding.

Kids Kamp Starts Today
The Rocky Hill Park and Recreation Department sponsored will begin this morning.
The following programs, which is for children three to six, will be offered daily during the three hour camp:
- Arts & crafts
- Indoor and outdoor games
- Stories
- Music and movement
- Special guests.
Parents and guardians must pack a peanut free lunch for their campers.
The camp runs from June 25 to Aug. 10 and is from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. each day. The price for one Rocky Hill resident is $72 per week or $17 per day.

Minister Says Goodbye to Rocky Hill
Will Kanute, who has been Minister of Music for the past 13 years, is leaving the Rocky Hill Congregational Church, according to its Facebook page. He is moving to Dallas.
