Graduation For High School Seniors
Graduation ceremonies will be held in front of the at 7 p.m. Anyone is welcome to attend the event.
If it rains, the ceremony will be held inside the auditorium and tickets will be given to family and friends by graduating seniors.

Big Guy, Small Dog Contest
Newington resident David Rametta and his dog Rocco were one of the grand prize winners of the “” calendar contest.
Rametta donated his recently won year’s supply of Mighty Dog food to the .
"The Connecticut Humane Society is very grateful to David for doing his part to help dog owners in his community with his generous donation," said , who represents Connecticut Humane Society.
The Rocky Parks and Recreation Department is looking for children between the ages of 11 to 18 who would be interested in being a part of a skate park committee.
Applicants need to "love skateboarding" and would want to develop the park "into a little piece of 'heaven,'" the release stated.
