Kiwi Spoon Frozen Yogurt Coming to Rocky Hill
Rocky Hill residents will soon be able to enjoy frozen yogurt on hot summer days to help them cool off.
Kiwi Spoon Frozen Yogurt is moving into the at 397 Cromwell Ave., which closed after a few years of operation. There is no word on when the store is expected to open.
The Wallingford-based company is a self service frozen yogurt shop for "people who enjoy a healthy lifestyle," according to its website. The store features a variety of toppings including fresh-cut fruit, nuts, cereal, candy and sauces.

Farmers' Market Gift Cards For Seniors
Seniors who are in need of fresh fruit and vegetables can stop by the and pickup a
Human Services is providing needy seniors with a one-time use gift card for $15 to farmers' markets in the surrounding area.
For a senior to be eligible for a gift card, a one person household must have an income lower than $20,665 and $27,991 for a two person household.
Applicants must be over the age of 60. Disabled residents who live in the housing authority and meet the income requirements also qualify.
Applicants must schedule a brief appointment to receive the gift card. To setup an appointment, call 860-258-2799.
Patch Brings Savings to Rocky Hill Residents
Rocky Hill Patch is trying to help shoppers save money at local businesses with a .
Shoppers are asked to go to the large, green Patch tent that will be setup in the New Britain Avenue Plaza on Saturday from noon to 3 p.m.
While at the tent, people will be able to receive a free swag bag full of goodies from participating area businesses and meet your patch team, Local Editor Joseph Wenzel and Advertising Manager Elyssa Haber. Customers can participate in a scavenger hunt where they can enter to win a $100 gift card from one of participating businesses.

Historical Society Open Today
The is open on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to noon and by appointment.
In addition to displaying important historical documents, exhibits and artifacts, the society also sells Rocky Hill memorabilia such as holiday ornaments and postcards.
