Five Things: Cleanup Efforts Resume Thursday at Dividend Park

Park Cleanup

Volunteers will continue their beatification of the Thursday morning.

The party will "clean the yellow trail up by the top of the sand pit near Cromwell town line," according to Ed Chicucarello in an email sent on June 12.

The group also plans on removing an oil tank, wood, bricks, shingles from Dividend Park, where a  was held for earlier this month. About 45 volunteers spent more than 300 hours cleaning up Dividend Park over the past few months, according to Chicucarello.

People volunteering their time are asked to meet at the Cromwell entrance past the Tournament Players Club golf course at 8 a.m. The group is expected to return to the park to blaze the yellow trail on July 7.

Yoga in the Park

is offering residents the chance to enjoy the outdoors while improving their health and well-being.

Participants are asked to bring a yoga mat to the free class.

on the basics of Medicare and the options available to those turning 65 will be offered for Rocky Hill residents Tuesday night.

No plan-specific benefits will be discussed at the seminar
