Community Update

I am sure you are aware that Over 55 communities do not receive the same benefits that are provided other Rocky Hill property owners.  Taxes provide snow removal and education for grades 1 through 12 as major budget items that for the most part have very little usage by the residents of Over 55 communities.  We are also responsible for fire hydrant maintenance and repairs as yet another benefit that other Rocky Hill residents are not forced to fund.

The Over 55 residents of all political persuasion represent a formidable constituency who could easily support a party or a representative who would fight on their behalf for a tax basis that champions representation of a fairer distribution of taxes.
