Former Mayor Died Monday

Paul Daukas, who served the town as mayor for 16 years, died this week at the age of 86, according to a published report.

A memorial service will be held this weekend for former mayor Paul Daukas who died Monday at the age of 86 after being hospitalized with pneumonia, according to the Hartford Courant.

The service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the St. James Church.
