Health & Fitness

Rocky Hill Fit TV

Keep your New Year's Resolutions in check by checking out Rocky Hill Fit TV coming to Rocky Hill Community TV for fitness and health advice!

Tight time constraints for holiday preparations and parties over the last few weeks, may have forced you to cut back or eliminate your fitness regime as you succumbed to the social pressures of feasting (and enjoying) on a wide assortment of holiday foods.  Not such a bad thing, me too, I’ve enjoyed every bite of an array of foods I normally do not eat on a regular basis.  Maybe you are feeling a bit sluggish or those new jeans are a bit too tight.  It happens to all of us.  So, I’ve been thinking, this week (between Christmas and New Years) is a critical week for many of us as we refocus are goals on health and fitness for 2012.

As you know, one of the most popular New Year’s Resolutions is to get fit.  Well, for some, a lifestyle of health and fitness could be challenging.  You know by now, if you are a regular Patch reader, I love to talk about health and fitness.

To kick off the New Year and help you to keep and maintain your health resolutions, Core Power will be providing a variety of 30-minute fitness/yoga  classes on Rocky Hill Community TV.  These classes will start within the next two weeks (dates/times available shortly).  A wide variety of classes will run to cover multiple populations to keep your workouts fresh and on track.  Eventually, the show will expand to further include weight loss tips, nutritional tips/advice, nutritional cooking (not mine, I promise, though I do cook healthy!), physical therapy tips/topics, a variety of current health topics and so much more!

Joining me to share their expertise will be local Rocky Hill Physical Therapists, Physicians, Nutritionists and more!  Actually, if you have suggestions on specific topics you would like more information on, please provide your feedback to me as community involvement will be a key ingredient to the success of the show!

Looking forward to helping you keep those New Year’s resolutions!  Wishing you  peace, health and happiness for the New Year!
