Explore Your Genealogy at the Library

Find out about your ancestors in this Wednesday workshop by an acclaimed genealogist.

 

Cora J. Belden Library is offering a series of workshops to help Rocky Hill residents explore their ancestry. Held on consecutive Wednesday evenings in October, the workshops are led by leading genealogist Thomas Jay Kemp.

There is no cost to attend any or all of the workshops. The next one takes place on October 10, 2012, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The last one will be held October 24th.

If you want to learn how to trace your family’s roots, these workshops are a great place to start. Facilitator Thomas Jay Kemp is a life member of the New York Genealogical and Biographical Society, the New England Archivists and the New Hampshire Library Association. He chaired the American Library Association's Genealogy Committee for many years and is the author of more than two dozen books. His articles appear regularly in national and state library, archival and genealogical journals.
