Rocky Hill Criterium Bike Race and Town Festival

An event to benefit the Rocky Hill Police Cadets!

Cycling Concepts, a Rocky Hill business for nearly twenty-five years, is partnering with the Rocky Hill Police Department and the Rocky Hill Parks & Recreation Department to hold a bicycle race on August 10, 2013
The event will be located in the center of Town with a festival being held on the Rocky Hill High School campus on Chapin Ave.
This is the first of what is hoped to be an annual, nonprofit event to benefit youth programs that are vital to the Town, but whose very existence is at risk due to budget restraints.  The inaugural event on August 10 will benefit the Rocky Hill Police Cadets program. There will be multiple races during the day with the first one starting at 8:00 a.m. with the entry level racers, followed by higher category racers and juniors.  There will also be a Kid’s Race on the High School Track for those children 9 and younger around 10:30 a.m.

The pro Women’s race at 1:00 p.m.  Men’s

race at 2:30 p.m.

Race participants register online @ Bikereg.com or in person on raceday.

In addition to the opportunity to watch exciting bicycle races, the festival will feature music; food vendors, inflatable bounce tents.  This promises to be a family friendly event that will help the town of Rocky Hill’s youth programs.
