Just two days after headlining back-to-back concerts at Carnegie Hall, Tim Janis takes his Christmas Rose Concert Tour to the Sisters of St. Joseph chapel to perform a benefit for Tabor House, a Hartford nonprofit that offers homeless men with HIV/AIDS a chance for health and independence.
Janis is an American composer/songwriter/musician with 1 million albums sold, including many Christmas recordings, and four National Public Television specials. He has worked with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra, Paul McCartney, Billy Joel, Ray Charles, George Clooney and James Earl Jones, Sarah McLachlan, Loreena McKennitt and Andrea Corr.
As part of his Music with a Mission project, he brought the all-female HIV-positive South African choirSinikithemba to the U.S. to raise awareness about the AIDS epidemic.
